The best place ever. I arrived in the middle of the snow storm (ok, I am exagerating a little bit but I was not prepared to it) and I felt immediately at home. A warm, relaxing, clean, quiet environment, with kind, friendly and efficient staff. The room was perfect, equipped with everything that could be necessary and full courtesy sets. Breakfast time was very well scheduled, starting at 6.30 (I did appreciate that because it allowed me to reach my appointments' location timely). The variety of food and beverages was enough to satisfy any taste and preference. Congratulations to the whole staff for making this stay unforgettable. I'll be back soon in Fribourg to try les meringues avec double creme de la Gruyere (I am not sure this is the correct way to write it) and, if possible, I'll stay there 😉

Everything was nice and very clean. The staff very kind and ready to help out with everything: find a parking spot, any question we had ready to find /propose quickly a solution. The rooms are nice/ cosi, quite and very clean! I was with my daughter and my friend and her daughter. Called the hotel the same day we were arriving and the receptionist arranged to put close to each other our two rooms booked separately. I definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure.

Nice hotel close to the former city walls (les remparts). The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We appreciated the the staff's offer to choose between staying in one of their recently renovated rooms, which were (at the time of writing) all located on the ground floor and subject to street noise, or one of the older rooms on a higher floor and with a view of the remparts. We chose the latter and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice, Clean Hotel with comfortable beds, nice amenities & spacious rooms. The location is perfect near the old town (5min walk) & quiet during the night. Staff is friendly and helpfull. They renovated the reception (now 24h service) and the dining room very tastefully. Breakfast is a highlight with a lot of local Fribourg specialities. Will come back!

Parking lot is right in front of the hotel, you can even load your cars Battery. It is simple and old fashioned, but clean, efficient and well maintained. The bed was confy. The employees at the reception were nice and helpfull!
